PAULDING COUNTY ELECTIONS

Voter registration and absentee ballot forms are available at
Hiram City Hall.

"Know Before You Go" Precinct Change Campaign - The United States Department of Justice has approved the Paulding County Precinct Reduction Proposal submitted in October 2009. This reduction will result in approximately 53,000 voters moving into a new precinct. The Election Office staff is working diligently on these changes and voters should expect their new precinct card in the mail within the next month (April 2010).

This reduction was necessary for the county due to the massive turn out for early voting in 2008, and budgetary limitations that the county is facing. With the 45 day NO REASON voting in person and the availability of paper absentee ballots, more voters are choosing to cast their votes early instead of on Election Day. The Election Office encourages voters to get out and vote early! This cuts back on problems that could arise on Election Day and decreases the number of Provisional Ballots cast on Election Day as well.

  • Paulding County voters may cast their early vote for the July Primary in the ELECTION OFFICE ONLY beginning June 7th, 2010.
  • Advance Voting locations will be available THE WEEK PRIOR TO THE PRIMARY ELECTION at the Elections Office, Mt. Tabor Park and Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Hiram.
