The Hiram Police Department Patrol Division consists of a Uniform Patrol Commander, four sergeants, and eight patrol officers. The Patrol Division works four 12-hour shifts.
The Patrol Division is responsible for enforcing City ordinances and State and federal traffic and criminal laws. The Division also patrols business and residential areas along with participating in the
House Watch and
Neighborhood Watch programs.
Calls
The Division responds to many types of calls, including lock-outs, alarms, domestic disputes, public affrays, accidents, and suspicious activities. They respond to an average of 409 calls for service each month.
